ליל הבחירות הוא פרויקט אישי ועצמאי של יעקב חן ציון. האתר מציג את מודל הפרופילים הסמויים, שחוזה את התוצאה הסופית מהקלפיות שכבר דיווחו. תוכלו לקרוא איך המודל עובד ולבחון את תחזיותיו בשחזורים של בחירות קודמות.
Election night is a personal, independent project by Yaakov Chen Zion. The site presents our Latent Profile Model, which forecasts the final result from the polling stations that have already reported. You can read how the model works and test its forecasts in replays of past elections.

הפרויקט אינו קשור לשום מפלגה, רשימה או קמפיין, אינו ממומן על ידם ואינו מייעץ להם. הוא גם אינו קשור לשום ערוץ טלוויזיה או כלי תקשורת, כולל הערוצים שמופיעים בהשוואה. אין לו מימון חיצוני, והוא אינו נעשה מטעם מעסיק או מוסד כלשהו.
The project is not affiliated with, paid by, or advising any party, list or campaign. Nor is it affiliated with any TV channel or news outlet, including the channels in the comparison. It has no outside funding and is not done on behalf of any employer or institution.
מה יש באתרWhat is on this site
- בשחזור הבחירות אפשר לעקוב אחרי הספירה בחמשת לילות הבחירות האחרונים, לצד תחזית שחישבנו בדיעבד לכל דיווח.
- באטלס פרופילי ההצבעה מוצגים 15 הפרופילים שהמודל למד. כל פרופיל מתאר חלוקת קולות בין המפלגות שחוזרת בקלפיות רבות, ולכל אחד הצמדנו דמות מאוירת בדויה.
- ההסברים על המודל מציגים את השיטה, את הבדיקה שלו על נתוני בחירות קודמות, ומילון מונחים.
- תחזית ל־K26 תוצג רק בליל הבחירות, אחרי שתתחיל הספירה.
- The election replay follows the count through the last five election nights, alongside a forecast we computed after the fact for each report.
- The voting-profile atlas shows the 15 profiles the model learned. Each profile describes a split of the vote between parties that recurs at many stations, and we paired each with a fictional illustrated character.
- The explainers cover the method, how the model was tested on past election data, and a glossary.
- A K26 forecast will appear only on election night, after counting begins.

- From the Central Elections Committee we took the official results by polling station and by locality, and the consolidated Knesset Elections Law (Hebrew).
- Copies of the results website saved by the Internet Archive (Wayback Machine) during election nights. The replays are built from them.
- We used the 2022 census tables, the socio-economic index and the English locality names published by the Central Bureau of Statistics.
- INES 2022 data from the Israel National Election Studies informed the background descriptions of the voting profiles in the atlas.
- The TV exit polls of Kan 11, News 12, News 13 and Channel 14, as reported by news websites. The links are on the comparison page.
